THIS JUST IN!........"MULLIGAN'S ISLANDFEST 2008" is now official, just added to the calendar! Make plans to join me, one of my favorite songwriters in the world, Southern California's Rob Mehl.... Texas Academy of Music "Album of the Year" Award winner Kelly McGuire....and, JUST added to the event, one of the top artists in the "trop-rock" circuit,  Gulf Shores Alabama singer songwriter Brent Burns for our 5th edition of IslandFest, to be held in San Carlos Sonora Mexico at Paradiso Resort on Nov.14-16th, 2008. Unbelievable event, gorgeous setting, awesome times with good friends and incredibly affordable too! Three nights, three concerts, all overlooking the water on one of the most gorgeous bgeaches in all of northern Mexico. Special lodging packages are now available, with free upgrades to ocean view rooms for all reservations before Aug. 30!  Email Robert at ventas@grupoparadiso.com for package info and rates, and make plans to join us for an incredible weekend south of the border at "Mulligan's IslandFest 2008".

As for IslandFest, 2007, damn we had a blast!  From the Thursday night "pre-party" where nearly 300 of you kicked off IslandFest 2007, to Friday night's opening waterfront show under the stars, to Saturday's packed house to Sunday's gorgeous sunset show on the beach, it was a weekend that I'll never forget.   Thanks to all of you who took your precious vacation time and chose to spend it with us in Mexico. To all the San Carlos locals who showed up in full force to support this event. And to the artists who shared the stage with me: Kelly McGuire, Rob Mehl, and Gary Seiler.

Folks were here from all over the place. Washington, California, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, hell Florida! It was like a big family reunion, with friends from previous IslandFests reuniting and new friends getting together for the very first time. That's probably my favorite part of IslandFest.  Watching the crowd and the fun you're having....

Just to show you what kind of folks show up for this event, this year's crowd raised over $6000 for the Castaway Kids project! And many took the time to visit the local soup kitchen and barrio where we focus our volunteer efforts.

I could go on and on about what an awesome time we had. But the pictures tell the story. Check 'em out. And make plans to join us Nov 14-16th 2008 for our next, and biggest, edition of IslandFest!
